Adoption

We place dolls. We don’t just sell them.

Adoption is a small ritual of its own: a conversation, a careful packing, and a story handed from our cabinet to your care. Here’s exactly how it goes.

1

Choose a resident

Browse the collection and read each doll’s provenance, disposition, and story until one stays with you.

2

Send an inquiry

Use the doll’s “Begin Adoption” form. Tell us a little about your home and what draws you to it.

3

A short conversation

We reply with everything we know and answer your questions. If it’s a good match, we confirm and arrange payment securely.

4

Documented & packed

Your doll is photographed, its provenance card finalized, and it’s cushioned into a fitted box.

5

Insured passage

It ships fully insured and tracked, timed to avoid harsh weather for fragile antique materials.

6

A new threshold

It arrives with its card and a care note. Greet it, give it a place — and let the story continue.

Before you adopt

Honest answers.

We offer every piece as a curio for entertainment and collection. The stories we share are each doll’s lore and provenance as it was passed to us — we make no guarantee of paranormal activity. What we do guarantee is honest history and honest condition.
Each doll is documented, gently packed in a fitted, cushioned box, and shipped fully insured within the United States, with tracking. Fragile pieces are timed to avoid extreme heat or cold.
The doll, its written provenance card, and a care-and-etiquette note specific to that piece. Anything original to the doll — clothing, stands, accessories — is noted and included.
We place dolls rather than simply sell them. A short conversation about your home helps us match the right piece to the right keeper — and gives you room to ask anything before committing.
If a piece arrives not as described, contact us within 7 days and we’ll make it right. Because each doll is one of a kind and the bond is personal, any other concerns are discussed case by case.
